2 Terminology and Symbols 2.1 Terminology 2.0.1 Building Equipment Automation System (BAS) is a comprehensive system composed of air conditioning and ventilation, power transformation and distribution, lighting, water supply and drainage, heat source and heat exchange, refrigeration and cooling, elevators and escalators within a building or building complex, with the purpose of centralized monitoring, control, and management. The building equipment monitoring system used in this specification is common to this article. 2.0.2 Communication Network System (CNS) Communication network system is the infrastructure for voice, data, and image transmission within buildings. Through communication network systems, it is possible to connect with external communication networks (such as public telephone networks, integrated business digital networks, the Internet, data communication networks, and satellite communication networks), ensuring smooth information flow and achieving information sharing. 2.0.3 Information Network System (INS) Information network system is an information network platform composed of advanced technologies and equipment such as computer technology, communication technology, multimedia technology, information security technology, and behavioral science. Utilize this platform to achieve information sharing, resource sharing, and information transmission and processing, and carry out various application businesses on this basis. 2.0.4 Intelligent System Integration (ISI) The integration of intelligent systems should be based on various sub projects such as building equipment monitoring systems, security prevention systems, automatic fire alarms, and fire linkage systems, to achieve the integration of building management systems (BMS). BMS can further integrate with Information Network Systems (INS) and Communication Network Systems (CNS) to achieve an Intelligent Building Management Integration System (IBMS), which meets the monitoring, management, and information sharing needs of buildings. Through automatic detection and optimization control of buildings and building equipment, BMS can achieve optimal management of information resources and provide users with the best information services, To achieve the goal of reasonable investment, adapting to the needs of the information society, and possessing the characteristics of safety, comfort, efficiency, and environmental protection in intelligent buildings. The 2.0.5 Fire Alarm System (FAS) consists of a fire detection system, an automatic fire alarm and fire linkage system, and an automatic fire extinguishing system to achieve automatic fire alarm and fire linkage for buildings
