1 Scope

This standard is applicable to packaged drinking water for direct consumption

This standard is not applicable to drinking natural mineral water

2 Terms and Definitions

2.1 Packaged Drinking Water

Sealed in packaging containers that comply with food safety standards and relevant regulations, and can be used for direct drinking.

2.1.1 Purified drinking water

Packaged drinking water is produced by using water that meets the raw material requirements of 3.1 as the production source water and using distillation, electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, or other appropriate water purification processes.

2 2.1.1 Other drinking water

2.1.2.1 Use water that meets the raw material requirements of 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 as the source water for production, and only allow to be used through degassing, aeration, decanting, filtration, and ozonation.
