In oxalic acid hydrochloric acid medium, the needle forms a red complex with azobenzene III, and its absorbance is measured at 660 nm on a spectrophotometer. When the total amount of lead and uranium in the interfering water sample exceeds 10ug and 100ug respectively, the results will be higher.
