Transparent plastic testing

This standard specifies two methods for determining the transmittance and haze of transparent plastics, Method A is the haze meter method, and Method B is the spectrophotometer method. It is recommended to use a circular plate with a diameter of 50 mm or a 50 mm sample × A 50 mm square piece. 4.3 Sample Inspection: The surfaces on both sides of the sample should be flat and parallel, free from dust, oil stains, foreign objects, scratches, etc., and there should be no visible internal defects or particles, except when it is required to test the impact of these defects on haze. 4.4 If there are no other special requirements for sample drum volume, each group should have three samples. Conduct the test in an environment with a temperature of 23 ℃ ± 2 ℃ and a relative humidity of 50% ± 10%, and adjust the state according to GB/T 2918-1989 for no less than 40 hours. In special cases, adjust the status according to the material specification or the conditions agreed upon by both parties
