Essence and spice detection

This part of GB/T 14455 specifies the method for determining the ester value or ester content of spices. This section is applicable to the determination of single ester content and essential oil ester value in isolated and synthetic fragrances. This section is not applicable to the determination of the ester content of mixed esters and difficult to saponify esters, as well as the ester value of essential oils containing lactones or more aldehydes. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to in this part of GB/T 14455 and become the clauses of this part.
