This standard specifies the testing method for antibiotic residues in fresh milk. The first method of this standard is applicable to the testing of antibiotics that can inhibit Streptococcus thermophilus in fresh milk; The second method is applicable to the detection of antibiotics that can inhibit Bacillus stearothermophilus var. calidola ctis in fresh milk, as well as for the detection of antibiotics in reconstituted milk, sterilized milk, and milk powder. After sterilization at 80 ℃, add Streptococcus thermophilus bacterial solution to the sample. After a period of cultivation, Streptococcus thermophilus began to proliferate. At this point, the metabolic substrate 2,3.5 trichlorobenzenetetrazolium (TTC) is added. If the sample does not contain antibiotics or the concentration of antibiotics is below the detection limit, Streptococcus thermophilus will continue to proliferate and reduce TTC to a red substance. On the contrary, if the sample contains antibacterial agents above the detection limit, Streptococcus thermophilus is inhibited, so the indicator TTC does not reduce and maintains its original color. 3.
