Product Description:

A sealed container made of metal sheets, glass, plastic, cardboard, or a combination of certain materials mentioned above, containing commercial food. After specific treatment, it reaches commercial sterility and can be kept at room temperature for a long time without spoilage. This type of packaged food is called a can. It can be canned beverages, including canned soda, coffee, juice, frozen milk tea, beer, etc. It can also be canned food, including lunch meat. The can opening part continues to use a can opener or imitation can opening technology, and now most can opening methods are of the can opening type. The earliest canned food was made by tightly sealing the mouth of a glass bottle with cork and wire. In 1795, French Emperor Napoleon led his army to fight in various directions. Seafarers who lived on ships for a long time fell ill due to the inability to eat fresh vegetables, fruits, and other foods, and some even suffered from life-threatening sepsis. Due to the long front line, a large amount of food would rot and spoil when transported to the front line. He hoped to solve the problem of storing food during battles and marches. Therefore, the French government used a huge prize of 12000 francs to solicit a method of long-term food storage. If anyone could invent technology and equipment to prevent food spoilage, he would receive this huge prize. Many people have invested in research activities in order to win awards. The French couple Nicolas Appert (1749-1841), who operated candied food, devoted all their energy to continuous research and practice and finally found a good solution: put the food into a wide mouthed glass bottle, stopper the bottle mouth with a wooden stopper, heat it in a steamer, then tighten the wooden stopper and seal it with wax. After ten years of arduous research, he finally achieved success in 1804. He processed the food, placed it in a wide mouthed bottle, and placed it all in a boiling water pot. After heating for 30-60 minutes, he stuffed it tightly with a cork while it was hot, and then reinforced it with wire or sealed it with wax. This technology was patented in 1810 and became public. This method can preserve food for a long time without spoilage. This is the prototype of modern canned food
