1 Scope: This standard is applicable to the food additive Asia menthol oil obtained by steam distillation from the flowering or unflowering aboveground parts of the Asian species of mint (Mentha arvensis L.var. glabata Holmes), which is then frozen and partially removed from the menthol. 2 Technical Requirements 2.1 Sensory Requirements Sensory requirements should comply with the provisions of Table 1.
