1 Chromaticity 1.1 Platinum Cobalt Standard Colorimetry 1.1.1 Scope This standard specifies the use of the Platinum Cobalt Standard Colorimetry to determine the chromaticity of drinking water and its source water. This method is applicable to the determination of chromaticity in drinking water and its source water. When measuring turbid water samples, it is necessary to first centrifuge them to make them clear. 1.1.3 Reagent Platinum Cobalt Standard Solution; Weigh 1.246 g of potassium chloroplatinate (KPtCl) and 1.000 g of dried ammonia drill (CoC1 · 6HO), dissolve them in 100 mL of pure water, add 100 mL of hydrochloric acid (p ao-1.19 g/mL), and bring to volume with pure water to 1000 mL. The result is multiplied by the dilution factor. 1.1.5.2 Take another 11 colorimetric tubes and add 0 mL, 0.50 mL, 1.00 mL, 1.50 mL, 2.00 mL, 2.50 mL, 3.00 mL, 3.50 ml., 4.00 mL, 4.50 mL, and 5.00 mL of platinum cobalt standard solution, respectively. Add pure water to the mark, shake well, and prepare standard color columns with chromaticities of 0 °, 5 °, 10 °, 15 °, 20 °, 25 °, 30 °, 35 °, 40 °, 45 °, and 50 °, which can be used for a long time. 1.1.5.3 Compare the water sample with the platinum cobalt standard color column.
