Scope of application: This method is applicable to the on-site rapid detection of total acids in vinegar&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; Principle of Method 2: The main component in vinegar is acetic acid, which contains a small amount of other organic acids. Titrate with sodium hydroxide standard solution and display the endpoint with an indicator to determine the total acid content in the sample&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; 3 Test materials: Dropping bottle containing 0.1mol/L sodium hydroxide standard solution, indicator&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; 4 operation methods: Take 1.0mL of sample into a 10mL colorimetric tube, add water to the 10.0mL mark, cover and mix well. Take 1.0mL from it and place it into another colorimetric tube or test tube, add 4 drops of indicator, and titrate with sodium hydroxide standard solution. Shake each drop of solution several times until the solution turns purple red (dark vinegar turns brownish red). Stop titration. Simultaneously perform a reagent blank test (i.e. take 1.0mL of water and titrate with sodium hydroxide standard solution)&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; 5. Result calculation: With the same sampling amount, each drop of sodium hydroxide standard solution is equivalent to 0.36% grams of total acid. The total acid content can be calculated based on the number of drops of sodium oxide standard solution used&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; 6 Precautions:

 &Nbsp&Nbsp; 6.1 Pay attention to the upright position of the dropper bottle during titration to reduce errors

 &Nbsp&Nbsp; When the results measured by this method differ by only 1 drop from the national standard or sample label values, the presence of on-site operational errors should be considered. For samples that do not meet the standards, they should be sent to the laboratory for precise quantification
