This standard replaces GB 5009.5-2010 "National Food Safety Standard - Determination of Protein in Food", GB/T 152 0173 3840.2-2008 "Inspection of Grain and Oil - Determination of Crude Protein in Plant Oils", GB/T 15673-2009 "Determination of Crude Protein Content in Edible Fungi" GB/T 5511-2008 "Determination of Nitrogen Content and Calculation of Crude Protein Content in Grains and Legumes by Kjeldahl Method", GB/T 9695.11-2008 "Determination of Nitrogen Content in Meat and Meat Products", and GB/T 9823-2008 "Testing of Grain and Oils - Determination of Total Nitrogen Content in Vegetable Oil Cakes and Meals"

This standard specifies the method for determining protein in food

The first method and the second method of this standard are applicable to the determination of protein in various foods, and the third method is applicable to the determination of solid samples such as grains, bean milk powder, Rice noodles, protein powder, etc. with a protein content of more than 10g/100g

This standard is not applicable to the determination of foods containing inorganic nitrogen-containing substances or organic non protein nitrogen-containing substances
