Milk and dairy products/physicochemical parameter testing

This standard specifies the method for determining the impurity content of milk and dairy products. This standard is applicable to the determination of impurities in fresh milk, pasteurized milk, sterilized milk, condensed milk, and milk powder. It is not applicable to milk and dairy products that add substances that affect filtration and insoluble colored substances. 2 Principle Raw milk, liquid milk, milk powder samples recovered with water are filtered by impurities through filter plate, and the impurity limit of samples is determined by comparing the visible non white impurities left on the impurity filter plate with the impurity reference standard plate. Unless otherwise specified, all reagents and materials used in this method are analytical pure, and the water is Grade III water according to GB/T 6682. 3.1 Impurities passing through the filter plate; A white cotton board with a diameter of 32 mm, a mass of 135 mg soil and 15 mg, and a thickness of 0.8 mm~1.0 mm, should meet the requirements of Appendix A. The impurity filter plate shall be inspected according to Appendix A. 3.2 Impurity Reference Standard Plate: The manufacturing method of the impurity reference standard plate is shown in Appendix B. 4 Instruments and Equipment 4.1 Balance: Sensitivity of 0.1 g. 4.2 Filtering Equipment; Impurity filter or suction bottle can achieve rapid filtration using either positive or negative pressure (filtration time per liter of water is 10-15 seconds). After placing impurities through the filter plate, the effective filtration diameter is 28.6 mm and 0.1 mm. 5 Analysis step 5.1 Preparation of sample solution 5.1.1 Liquid emulsion sample is thoroughly mixed, and 500 ml of the sample is measured immediately. 5.1.2: Accurately weigh 62.5 g ± 0.1 g of milk powder sample into a 1000 mL beaker, add 500 mL of 40 ℃± 2 ℃ water, stir thoroughly to dissolve, and immediately measure. 5.2 Determination: Place impurities through the filter plate on the filtering equipment, pour the prepared sample solution into the funnel of the filtering equipment, but do not overflow the funnel and filter. Wash the beaker multiple times with water and transfer the washing solution into a funnel for filtration. Wash the funnel with a washing bottle and filter it several times. After filtering, remove the impurities and pass them through the filter plate. Compare them with the impurity level standard plate to obtain the impurity level of the sample
