Food (additive) testing

This standard specifies the principle, reagents, instruments and equipment, analytical steps, result calculation, and precision of using gas chromatography and liquid chromatography to determine tert butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ). This standard is applicable to the determination of TBHQ content in edible vegetable oils with lower melting points. This standard is not applicable to the determination of TBHQ content in edible vegetable oils with a melting point above 35 ℃. The quantitative limit of this standard is 0.001 g/kg for gas chromatography and 0.006 g/kg for liquid chromatography. The gas chromatography method in this standard is the arbitration method. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through the reference surface of this standard.
